The full Qloud LTD Terms of Service apply to ClipSalvage. Please read them at qloud-ltd.com/terms.html.
Key terms specific to ClipSalvage:
Description of Service
ClipSalvage is a macOS and Windows application for recovering deleted Tesla Sentry Mode and Dashcam videos from USB drives using advanced file carving technology. Since v2.20.0 it also decrypts Tesla's encrypted (software 2026.20+) clips, using decryption keys fetched for your own clips via a one-time in-app Tesla sign-in.
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the Qloud LTD Terms of Service linked above, Qloud LTD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ClipSalvage on devices you own or control. This license is conditioned on payment of the applicable license fee (see Licensing below) and does not transfer ownership of the software to you.
Licensing
ClipSalvage offers a free trial (3 recoveries plus 30 encrypted-clip decryptions) and two one-time purchases: Decrypt ($9.99), which unlocks batch decrypting and export of encrypted (2026.20+) clips, and Pro ($29), which adds unlimited recovery of deleted and formatted clips. Decrypt licences upgrade to Pro for a one-time $19.99 — the same activation code becomes a Pro code. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms of Service.
Note: the "renewal date" shown inside the app is a license-token re-verification, not a billing event — your license is a one-time purchase and you will never be charged again. See Support for how license re-verification works.
Your cancellation and withdrawal rights
ClipSalvage is digital content, delivered and unlocked the moment you buy. Cancellation rights for digital content differ by country, so the position where you live is set out below. Whatever it says, the free trial — a full scan, a preview of every recoverable clip, 3 free recoveries and 30 free encrypted-clip decryptions, with no time limit — exists specifically so you can confirm ClipSalvage works on your drive before you pay anything.
European Union and EEA
You normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By completing your purchase you expressly:
- Request immediate access to the digital content;
- Acknowledge that the digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase; and
- Consent to the loss of your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
This follows Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
United Kingdom
You normally have a 14-day cancellation right for online purchases. By completing your purchase you expressly request that supply of the digital content begins immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once it has. This follows regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Everywhere else
Some countries give consumers a cancellation or cooling-off right for digital purchases that cannot be given up by agreement. Where the law where you live gives you such a right, you keep it, and nothing on this page removes it. If you believe you have one, email support@clipsalvage.com and tell us where you are buying from.
No Refunds — All Sales Final
We do not offer refunds or discounts. Because the free trial lets you verify that ClipSalvage recovers your footage before you pay, and because your license is delivered and unlocks immediately on purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable.
This is our commercial policy, and it operates only as far as the law allows. It does not affect any right or remedy you have that cannot be excluded under the consumer law of the country where you live — see below.
Rights that cannot be excluded
Some countries give consumers guarantees that a seller cannot contract out of. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any such right or remedy.
- Australia: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- New Zealand: where you acquire ClipSalvage as a consumer, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies and is not excluded.
- European Union, EEA and United Kingdom: your statutory rights in respect of digital content that is not as described or not of satisfactory quality are unaffected.
- United States and Canada: some states and provinces do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of these terms may not apply to you. You keep any rights your state or province gives you.
- Anywhere else: you keep any right under your local consumer law that cannot be waived by agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qloud LTD's total liability arising from your use of ClipSalvage will not exceed the amount you paid for your license. Qloud LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of footage, or any outcome of legal, insurance, or law-enforcement proceedings in which recovered footage is used. This limitation applies only as far as the law allows. It does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under any consumer guarantee or statutory right that cannot be contracted out of in the country where you live.
Evidence Use
ClipSalvage is a data-recovery tool, not a forensic or legal-evidence certification service. Recovered files are byte-for-byte copies of the original Tesla-recorded MP4s, and the app's confidence score reflects file integrity, not legal admissibility. Whether an insurer, court, or law-enforcement body accepts recovered footage as evidence is entirely at their discretion and outside Qloud LTD's control. If you intend to use recovered footage as evidence, you are responsible for meeting any chain-of-custody or authentication requirements your insurer, counsel, or the relevant authority may require.
Disclaimer
ClipSalvage is provided "as is". Video recovery success depends on the condition of your USB drive and the extent of data overwriting. We cannot guarantee recovery of all deleted files. The app should not be used as a substitute for regular backups.
Taxes
The price shown at checkout is the total amount you will be charged. Where Qloud LTD is required to account for VAT or an equivalent sales tax on your purchase, that amount is included in the price shown rather than added at the end. Qloud LTD is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom. Your payment receipt is issued by our payment processor, Stripe, and is your record of the transaction.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away your local protection. You keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live that cannot be departed from by agreement, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If something has gone wrong, please email us first — most issues are resolved that way.
